Building Bridges Outward Bound Program

Supporting emerging ROTC leaders to be compassionate, tolerant and resilient is key to building a strong Armed Forces. This program allows students from diverse backgrounds to celebrate their differences and create a deeper understanding of each other through challenges and common experiences.

Key initiatives include:

An unforgettable week-long adventure along the Appalachian Trail designed for ROTC cadets. Students learn essential navigation skills using a map and compass, enhance their technical and communication abilities while climbing and rappelling, and collaborate to set up campsites. Guided activities foster reflection and help students forge meaningful connections that will last a lifetime.

Outward Armour App Trail (Campfire)

An immersive one-day program designed to guide students through a variety of problem-solving challenges, high ropes obstacles, and thought-provoking discussions. This experience promotes experiential learning, enhancing personal growth and teamwork. Tailored for ROTC cadets, the program helps build confidence and forge strong connections while developing essential leadership skills.
